Physical Education Department

The schools provide sporting areas, courts, gymnasiums and educational aids to develop student's mental, physical abilities. The curriculum is comprehensive in terms of the sport skills according to each academic grade and age teachers follow both general objectives and semester objectives. Sports differ between the schools but include for example Basketball, Badminton, Football, Fitness, Hockey, Karate, Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Tennis and Volleyball.
The curriculum considers individual differences and supports the equity and justice principles. The school devoted a section for nurturing talents as well as learning- difficulty students. All students are able to participate in this course; it is tailored to meet the needs of the physically challenged when necessary. The particularly talented represent the schools in a variety of inter schools activities such as basketball tournaments, table-tennis tournaments and football matches.Students may also be given fitness record cards which details daily exercises which they must complete and their parents sign the cards. The students are tested physically and mentally throughout their courses and prepare research projects based on sports and health in addition to the physical activities.
