Captain Arabia and the Baby Camel!

Lamia Mudarres wanted to make a contribution to education in primary schools before she graduated from the Dar Al Fikr in July 2009. She chose to write a short story for young children as her graduation project. Captain Arabia is a Muslim super hero
named Saif. Saif is different from other heroes because he always remembers to stop and pray no matter what he is doing. In the story he has a baby camel through which he learns the values of responsibility and patience while helping others.

“When I was given a copy of Lamia's book, I was thoroughly impressed and immediately knew I wanted to publish it.  The characters were surely cute but more importantly our Muslim children need a super hero like Saif that they can identify with.  Now I can only hope that Lamia will continue writing more terrific stories”!
